If you have any specific health issues or concerns, please discuss them beforehand with your GP and then with us.
A Kendo class can be quite an intense but fun workout.
You are free to participate to the extent of your own abilities; there is no macho attitude at this dojo. If you need to stop, then stop.
Injuries are very rare. We ask that you warm up with us and follow the instructions given.
If we see an action that is unsafe, either by accident or design we will call a halt to the training until it is has been rectified.
Your safety is of utmost importance.
You are likely to realise you have muscles in places that you never had before and even develop some blisters in peculiar places (hands and feet). We have first aid provisions and trained first aiders on site for every practice
