KENDO BOLTON
Kendo (Japanese fencing) is fast becoming a very popular martial art in the UK.
It is suitable for everyone regardless of gender, age and body shape.
(please contact us for under 16's as we must check for instructor availability)
Mark Needham Sensei (5th dan Kendo) is the dojo leader of the Bolton branch, and Paul Walsh (2nd dan Kendo) is the secretary.
We are flexible enough to take beginners throughout the year. We allow people to watch the class before they begin and always encourage participation in a free introductory class.
We just ask that you let us know that you want to try it first, either by email or by Telephone (please see contacts page). Your first class you take part in is totally free.
C'mon.. try it…. we did, and we still love it.
Dont forget we train on Sundays 10:00 am till 01:00pm.
We've tried to answer some of the questions that beginners have, and questions that the general public have about Kendo. On this site we have the following topics. If these dont answer your questions either come along or contact Sensei.
•How much does it cost?
•What do I bring? What do I wear?
•How fit do I have to be?
•What happens when I turn up?
•Whats all the shouting for????
